Hi all

I’m trying to replace my head unit. I don’t care about retaining onstar or even chimes. The past two harnesses I bought for my car just don’t match up to the wiring on the stock harness so I’m getting no power.

I also bought a PAC smart harness and I’m having the same issue. Listed for my car, but the pin locations on the harnesses don’t match.

Cut and splice? Is there a harness I’m not finding?

Neither of the links worked for me.

Have you checked the wiring diagrams?

Most harnesses are relatively the same with their wires.

They may not be the same color but all the wires should be labeled.

I know the diagrams for the factory harness and the one that came with the headunit. The issue is that when I wire the aftermarket harness to the headunit harness The wires don't match up correctly to the factory harness.

Plus I've heard soemthing about the ACC wire needing to be run to the fuse box to shut the radio off when the car is off? Sounds like a pain.

This harness SAYS it fits, but can anyone definitively say it does?

What do you mean they don’t match up?

Are there wires missing?

When the harness is plugged into the factory wires the 12v, ACC, speakers wire, etc don't match up with the correct pin location.
