06 Door Deadened (pics, 56k'rs beware...)

I ordered 40 square feet, which came in sheets of 2 square feet each, therefore I started with 20 sheets of Second Skin Damplifier. I have 12 sheets left now, so it took about 16 square feet for 3 GOOD layers to get the door done. If I'm missing anything here, or anyone has questions let me know. Second Skin Damplifer: $98 for 40 sq ft FTW!
So it took 16 sqft to do the one door?

Im trying to figure out how much I need to do the front doors in my '01 4runner.

That's how much it took ME. Really just depends on how many layers you want to do and how big your doors are. Better to have too much than too little.

Finished the passenger's side door. Took the car out for a good listen and I am very very impressed by how much clarity I've gained. Every song sounds so much clearer and the mid-bass is very responsive. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Another possibility is peg board. You know the stuff you hang on the wall that has a bunch of holes to hang tools and such on. Take that and cover with deadener like was done here with cardboard. It'd be stiffer and not much thicker. Easy to cut and work with. Enough flex to be easier than plexi.
