02 z06 Build

COOL CAR! I LOVE the LSX engines, I used to own a shop that did some of the fastest ones for our time, Race-Prep. I have since sold the co but still love doing the work, what heads are on that car? who did the work? Sounds like about a 240ish @ .050" cam on about a 106 LSA, am I close? We did one of the first 434 strokers with the Darton sleeves, it laid down over 550 to the wheels with ported STOCK 6.0 heads that flowed over 330 CFM!

Yea he vette was pretty sick. The gto will be pretty nasty. Meet him at hpe where we got out work done.

On the front quarter panels? The previous owner had that done and it kinda grew on us. All other mesh aside from the license plate cap is stock. The side flares come stock on z06s, they are air ducts to cool the rotors.

I cant remember which heads are on it but the block is a ls2 6.0 402 stroker with a .650 lift cam. I cant remember the rest of the specs on the cam either. That 434 sounds nasty! Another friend has an 01 z06 with a 418 stroker putting down between 550-600rwhp.

 
yeah the modern heads and cams are VERY superior to the old stuff we had to use, these are great engines and fun cars! gotta love it when a heads and cam car can whoop *** on a blown mustang with twice the $$ in it!

03/04 cobras don't take much money to get fast. With just pulley's, intake, exhaust and a tune they should easily be over 450 horse.
im certainly not an expert on these things but i think a few years ago i remember reading in a 5.0 magazine that there was a certain year cobra that with just pulleys and something else it could run 10.9 in the quarter mile.

most likely the 03-04, they come supercharged from factory so smaller pulley's ups the boost and they get fast real quick.

 
03/04 upgraded pulley,exhaust and cai and tune will net around 450 no doubt but 10.9s not so sure.

oh i know the 01 zo6 u are talkin about must say that things is bad. austin got rid of that c6 didnt he the i wanna say silver i think?

terminators are easy to get into the low 11s and with good driving high 10s. Anything faster and you start to put a hole in your pocket.

yea I went to highschool with the guy with the 01 z06...hes big headed though and daddy paid for everything.

Yes austin sold the c6 and bought a c5 that is sick. I wont say much about it because idk if he would like me to.

Not threadjacking, just spreading the sweet sweet love of the Z06. I don't know much about the car but the owner is rather old and refuses to get on the gas.
