Pics and vids. Did the pods interfere with parking brake?

I just have to open the door to open the latch but other than that, not at all! had to have function with the design.

Great looking pods, def better the second time around! Would have loved to seen paint or vinyl though! Something you may want to try in the future that you may like is to cover your finished pods with painters tape, lay down some glass and make a "molded" shape insert. Paint that and then you can use it as an overlay on the pod to hide some of the seams of the carpet wrap. Kind of hard to explain, maybe you get the idea. Either way keep it up!

I wouldve loved to paint them too but with the truck being a daily its just not practical. I will be painting some pieces on the door though..

and I know what you mean with the "overlay" so to speak, ive seen it done multiple times and it looks pretty bad ass, if this were a show truck, I would've done just that.

Trading it and my current aq for a SAZ-3500, I don't have room for both AQs and would rather run 1 amp anyways, always wanted a sundown amp, will post pics once I acquire it. Trying to figure out where I'm gonna put my batts, thinking maybe under the hood just not sure where..

Gonna start and do a decent amount of the box monday.. Going back to Dallas on Wednesday. Finish the box, start the amp rack, etc.. Will post updates as they happen!

No point in doing that because ill end up doing another blow through within the next year so it's kinda pointless, I have thought about it.. Just too risky, I'd always be thinking about it unless I had a bed cover with locks out the *** on both. If I knew I was going to stay inside the cab I'd totally do it

first thing with this update:

BIG shout out to @03F150MrSBF ; for all your vinyl/sticker needs hit him up, he can do just about ANYTHING you need..

now what you see here is just pink sundown vinyl stickers right? well what im going to do is use them as stencils, first im going to build my box, and then I will stain the sides and top where i want the "sundown audio" to go, i will then lay the vinyl down over the stained wood, then Im going to roll on black paint over all of the box, remove the vinyl and I will have a black box with "sundown audio" written in stained wood, its gonna look super bad ass.. if you dont understand, dont worry you'll see what I mean in a few days.:emb:

heres a preview of how it will be laid out on the side pieces, the smaller sticker you see above will be on the top baffle

oh yeah, notice that SHOK 1/0, thats gonna be my negative run to the back batt.

anyways, IM GOING BACK TO DALLAS TOMORROW!!!

not knocking jesse's work at all... but honestly the top baffle should be doubled up, and the port walls should also be doubled.
