0 or 4 gauge

Because his system will be 55A; 4AWG can handle 120A-150A (Depending on the manufacturer). He could almost triple the power of his system and still be fine with the 4AWG. So why would he spend twice as much money on wire that he doesn't need?

true but u gotta take into consideration the distance he is running the wire as well as the future possibility of running more power. imo i would go 0 gauge, as i had a 700 rms amp that caused dimming and i was using 4 gauge.

It wasn't dimming due to your power wire, it was due to the charging system. I don't care what anybody says, you don't need 0AWG for 55A.
