Looking for a new pair of 12's to be powered with 1200W total

I want to stay with 12's as I always liked them in the past. I have the room for them so might as well go for it. So as of right now, looks like I'm gonna go with the MB Quart 1500.1 for the amp. Now I just need to pick out a pair of subs to power with it. Open for more suggestions and opinions...

Looking for a new pair of 12's to be powered with 1200W total

Well I sold my sub set-up a few months ago and am looking to purchase something new and starting from scratch. I got a new car so I sold off my JBL subs and MTX amp that I ran them with and am wanting to get something different. I have an 09 Subaru Impreza hatchback and won't mind taking up the...

Re Components Vs Pioneer Premier Ts-d720c

I love my Pioneers Can't comment on the RE's since I haven't heard them before, but my Pioneers sound amazing with 90W RMS. I had a Cadence set before them, and there is no comparison between the two. Also have heard rsd's, and the Pioneers sounded better hands down.....

Pioneers FTW. I have that set and love them! I'm not sure why people are having problems with mid-bass outta these, mine sound great!

Best 60W Speakers You Have Ever Heard

I have about 80-90W RMS going to them right now....and they love every bit of it. I could only imagine how they would sound with a solid 120W going to them

Best 60W Speakers You Have Ever Heard

Personally, my Pioneer TS-D720C's are the best sounding 60W RMS set I have heard in my lifetime. I have been nothing but blown away by their performance.....and I was expecting them to sound pretty good, but not THIS good! Amazing set for the $$

Yes, the new set is quite an upgrade....new mid and tweeter.

Phoenix Gold RSD something or other???

Instead of buying a new woofer, you should part out the rest of the set and put that money towards the Pioneers Seriously though, I just got done listening to the two component sets back to back and the there is no comparison between the two. I have the Pioneers in my 01 Focus, and the Rsd's...

help me choose my next speakers

I'm gonna vote for the Pioneer's I just installed these in my car yesterday, and am blown away with how awesome they sound for the price. My friend that helped with the install has Rsd's and I liked the sound of the Pioneers better....as did he. I am 100% satisfied with these components, and...

opinions of jbl power 12 to type r 12

Then get the JBL's.....port them tuned low and you won't be dissapointed. I'd go lower than the 37hz that mine are tuned for....

opinions of jbl power 12 to type r 12

I have a pair of the power 12's in a JBL spec ported enclosure with an MTX 81000D powering them. Like previously mentioned, they really hammer the lows, and sound good doing so. I have about ~600W RMS going to each sub and they take it all day long no questions asked. The R's arevery similar as...

Whats a good Amp for 2 JBL 12's with 4 ohm???

I run my two Power 12's off a MTX 81000D. They each see about ~550W daily and love it. They could take more power daily for sure.....I just don't have enough yet And about the box....it looks like it's close to JBL's specs for vented SQ enclosure. They only call for 1.75 cubes per sub with...

Review on the Pioneer Premier TSD-720c's.

I'm going to be in the same boat as you are, as I plan on picking up some nice components that I am sure will be beefy I may try the same spot you picked.....or if I'm feelin like it go for the A-pillars and some fiberglass
