i have a '07 new body silverado crew cab. I'm going to put the 6's in the doors and the tweets in the factory locations in the pillars. I will be putting the matching coaxs in the back doors. I'm thinking of a single 10 or 12 and a 5 ch. amp. Need some opinions. Thanks.

5channel amp are ... ok at best

You better get a 2channel/4 channel to power the front stage, ditch the rear and then get a class d amplifier for the sub (or class a/b if low power)

So... no reason to amp the back doors? The only reason i was going to do a 5 ch. is there isnt much room in these trucks for amps.

look for alpine amps. They do rated and are pretty small too. amps don't take place when you use your creativity

Id's without a doubt. I was in the same boat as you about two weeks ago and I took ca.com's oppinions and went with the Id's. TRUST me you won't be upset.

Definitely the CTX65CS, they sound amazing for the money. I have a set myself and I can't complain at all.
