could anyone compare these two subs? the 12'' models. on a scale of one to ten can u please rate these categories.... sq, spl, and which is able to deliver/ handle the most power [actually, not what manufacturer calls for. thanx!

0/g from battery to distro block. from there, 4/g to amps rf 700x and bd1500. nothing was ever changed. 4/g grounds also, less than 2' ea.

how would u rate these subs from best to least? ip12'', eclipse ti 12'' 12w6v2, mtx9500, 12''xxx, rf pwr hx2, and mtx8000? btw, ip is what i call infinity perfect for short.

i have rf bd1500 and it sounds like crap far as the power it puts out. when i first got it, it was straight then 1 of my woofers blew and it seemed like amp wasnt the same since. i got more subs 2 4ohm this time, to see the power at 2ohms.at first i had 2 8ohm subs so i just knew 2 ohmsof...

.......that if u go from having a 2v pioneer deck to a 5v eclipse, that u will notice the difference in how far u have to have the gains set on ur amp? since 5 is more than half of 2, would that mean that if the amp was set 3/4 of the way with the 2v, that using 5v, would it put out as much pwr...

how can i get my amp tested to see if its putting out at least its rms power? would any audio shop have equipment to do so? i dont want to have to send amp back to repair if something else can be the problem why it sound so weak:(

why dont they make them like sony,pioneer, etc with like 40w x4, 45w x4, etc. with also the pre-outs? at least you have the option of playing inside speakers and/or tweets off the hu and then using pre-outs for sub amp and so on.

why does eclipse make cassette hu's with no external speaker wire? u have to have external amp for hu to work. hu only has 3 set of rca's and power connectoins, thats it. if your amp f***'s up, your screwed!! there is no playing door speakers off the hu itself. that really *****. this is the...

this hu only will work if u have external amps. why would they make a hu that can only be used in that way? if your amp screws up, then u have nothing. is that normal for companies to do that for their hu's? what if u dont have amps?

i hear a slight fluttery type sound in my subs too, that sounds strange. was wondering if subs were not playing at full power like when i first got them. kinda brings on an attitude that smells a little pissy (pissed off). i know how u feel, anyway, good luck;)

is there a big difference in output power if u have an rf amp that tests out at 15.1v, 944w at 54% efficiency, and one at 14.5v, 998w at 58% efficiency? amp is 750x. is 77% efficiency good for a rf class d amp? what is considered a decent %, like 70 and up? please answer in detail if u can. thanx.

well, now i guess another dillema? now, subs wont play at all, but the amp power light is still on. is it possible for an amp to be screwed up, but the power light still work? i took subs in the house and wired them to a small stereo and they work.does anyone know what can be wrong with the amp?
