Anyone do a motorized amp rack?

Thanks again for the information and photos zierbox. After making some measurements, I discovered that I only have 14" of length to work with in the area where I will be mounting the linear actuator. I also needed an actuator that had at least a 10" stroke length so I decided to go with the...

Anyone do a motorized amp rack?

zierbox THAT IS SOME CRAZY WORK MAN! I am trying to an amp exactly like the one that you did in the White Mustang (trying to guess from the lights) Where do you buy you linear actuators from. (trying to find the cheapest spot that I can find) Do you also mind laying out everything that was...

    Hertz HSK-165 vs MLK-165

Just heard back from my local Hertz dealer and I was correct. The Space 1.1 tweeter is the same tweeter that is used in the MLK-165 component set.

    Hertz HSK-165 vs MLK-165

The Space 1.1 tweeter IMO is way better than the HT25 that comes with the Hertz HSK 165 set. I am trying to find where I read this...but I believe that the Space 1.1 is actually the tweeter that is used in the MLK 165 Component set. (ML28) They move up to he ML280 with the higher level of...

A good place to buy hertz?

Did not know that was considered breaking the rules. I was just trying to offer a trusted shop that he could buy from instead of trying to buy from someone on the site.

need help for my SQ build

Let me be the first to welcome you to the forum. About your install, do you plan to install everything yourself? In my mind you can get an awesome sounding system by using either the stock locations or kickpanels. You just need to decide what you over all goal of your system is. As far as...

Not hearing the midbass well on my CDT EF-61CFi/25's

Your HPF being set at 125Hz up to the passive cross over freq (what ever that is) could be part of the reason why you are not getting any kind of kick from your midbasses. You may want to try to lower that HPF on those midbasses to see if that helps you out.

    Hertz hsk165/polk mmc6500

The answer to why the HV165L look crappy... ..."HV 165L and HV 200 have performance-enhancing properties. Their non-pressed paper cones with cotton fibers improve energy transfer at low and mid frequencies thanks to the special density of the material they consist of. "

Comp choices: Morel, Hertz, JL, Alpine

You can't go wrong with the High Energy HSK 165 component set. Especially if you are on a budget. If you have more money to spend the Mille line is simply awesome! If you want to stick with the High Energy line, I would recommend using the High energy 165 midbasses with the Space 1 tweeters...

    Digging the 880prs

I feel you on the 880PRS. Especially when it is in network mode. Just the added feature of phase shifting alone is worth the switch. Once I started getting further and further into some of the drop down menus like the various networking features, I really started feeling like this headunit...
