You should listen to people who have actually owned the sub (like zebo) instead of people who never heard the sub and just bash it from what they heard through word-of-mouth (like almost everyone else in this thread)

^^Gotta love all the XXX owners bashing the sub they've never heard before... I suggest you seek the advice of people who have owned both subs and are experienced in installations, and not heed the verbiage of a bunch of people who only own XXX's and base all their information about the Rl-p...

I would definitely say an rl-p would be a substantial upgrade. Although the SE's are great subs to begin with.

I think it' s too early to get accurate feedback from this kind of comparison.

I think someone has a picture comparison between the two. it was a somewhat old thread though. search for rl-i or something. All I know is, the magnet on the rl-i is MUCH larger, but of course it doesn't mean everything...
