12" RL-P vs. 12" MAGNUM D2

i doubt they're open at this time....

You'd be really surprised at what times Nick will answer the phone. even more surprised at the odd times he may call you.

I am biased as well, and have never heard any SS sub, so I'll just comment on the Mags.

To those who are comparing them to the previous versions, you really can't. The Magnum quickly became one of my all-time favorites, and I never thought it could be improved upon, short of an entirely new design. Well, that's what Nick did, and it worked. The newest available drivers are leaps and bounds better than the previous ones. Everything on the new drivers is new. The motor is custom designed and tooled, and the only thing it shares with the previous models is a basket. Only thing that stayed the same. Well, the terminals as well, unless you're special (HA HA Justin:D ).

If you get a chance to listen to the new drivers, don't pass it up.

Bastage!

The spring loaded ones weren't an option for me. The ones I got were out of necessity. Didn't want anyone touchin it and ripping out the wires.

Armstrong, leave a voicemail or shoot nick an email, Nick@stereointegrity.com.

He usually gets online later at night, so he may respond to you today still.

If you call and I don't answer the phone that means I'm either busy or not around. Leave a message and I'll get back to you. ...I think it has that last sentance in the recording actually. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

As for Ryan, I only call him when I'm ... well usually it's very late at night and I have slurred speach. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I think the only time I called him mid-day was to tell him the real reason they have oxygen masks on planes. "Oxygen gets you high. In a catastrophic emergency you're taking giant, panic breaths...suddenly you become euphoric, docile, you accept your fate."

Willy, did you by chance read my review of my 2 new mag D2 12's?

Here, I'll throw in a few more things. 300 watts each, ported 28hz box. (remember, this is 300 watts each)....

I was driving around in the rain the other day, noticed something I havn't seen before... the rain would dance on the windsheild on certain notes.

After playing these things for a week or two on 300 each they've got adifferent sound to them, that is indeed alot better and closer to the sound I remember when Noah was demoing the prototype, they also now hurt my ears on certain notes, something I never though 600 total watts would be able to do in a caprice classic.

I havn't heard an RL-p in person, but I've heard a few other things. I prefer the sound from my mags over the sound from a XXX, and I can also tell you that the mags still get about as loud as LI's, which aren't exactly quiet. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I havn't been metered yet, I'll do it as soon as I can guys, but I promise you, if you get a mag, you will not be disappointed.
