There are so many threads about L7's and how many db's they will hit its crazy........ Ive learned that L7's get loud but sound like **** doing it so if u want any kind of SQ i wouldnt really recommend these.... with $500 id go with a re xxx 15,18........ sound 10 times better also

I have the san jose and wish i wouldnt of got it now but it hasnt gaven me any problems the only thing i dont like about it is it doesnt have an EQ built into it but the X-bass gives ur subs a nice kick and theres some other cool options on it...... if ur not worried about built in EQ then i...

Best things to do is if your back seat comes down, take it down and point it toward the front if not or u want to use the back deat alot then face it toward the back

The only major things is the looks and it may increase the loudness a tad because of them not being inside the box but it does take up more room outside of the box is the only bad thing....

When people say "with a certain amp & box" their refering to install..... you could spend little on subs but have a great install and make them sound like they cost 4 times what they really cost..
