L7 would be louder.

SE will sound nicer though, and it will put out deeper bass.

so, are you two guys saying that the 10" l7 would be louder than a 12 Se? because i as many people here am looking for a good system and am looking to somone here who does have more knoledge.. i want something louder than i have now, but i dont want to go brok trying to get it. i was thinking before of 2 12 se's and a 1500 watt amp.. would that be good or would 2 12 L7's be better.. i found the l7's for cheaper so i am leaning towards thoes.. let me know .. thanks alot..

A 10" L7 will NOT be louder than an SE 12". Sorry..it simply will not.

A 12" vs. 12" comparison is a different story. The L7 just might be louder in some applications. In some the SE will be. We have tested the 12" L7 and SE 12". They are VERY close in terms of toal "all out spl".

I would take the SE in a ported set up personally, even though the L7 10 is a loud lil' bugger
