Subs-Inverted???

What does everyone think about having subs inverted? Meaning Basket facing out and cone in???

It seems like it looks nice (depending on sub) and could save a tad bit of airspace, but It just seems like it would not be as efficient...

I'm just curious what everyone thinks...

The only major things is the looks and it may increase the loudness a tad because of them not being inside the box but it does take up more room outside of the box is the only bad thing....

most people say it decreases the spl. not by an audible difference but on a mic it might be .1 or .2. not alot.

its mostly just for looks. if you do it just remember to switch the polarity (aka switch pos and neg on the sub)

when u put a sub facing in...u have to switch the polarity of the sub...because if u dont when its supposed to compress are it'll be depressing air...so u switch it so it compresses when its supposed to...u wont hear any MAJOR difference in sound or spl
