K&N let a lot of dirt into your motor, thats bad. Would you get a HP and MPG increase yes/maybe, but would you notice it no. K&N FIPK mostly change the path the air takes fooling the ECM into adding more fuel.
They also make pumps for this IIRC there like $30 at auto parts stores and make it way easier. I would flush out all of the fluid it should be changed every two years. If there are not any bubbles coming out this isn't your problem maybe a vacuum leak.
They let tons of dirt in to your motor Here is a test done by us on a diesel forum. There are some new filters in the works right now made of nanofibers(sp) that should put all of the previous stuff even more to shame.
When I lived in Lincoln 5+ years ago my friends had a lot of trouble with Stereo West installs. I wouldn't buy from them, I also heard rumors of thefts.
Lots of guys race diesels/truck pulls and buy them for only that. On top of all of this dyno #s prove nothing.
Here is a little try at a 4wd burnout IIRC this is only a 13 sec. truck at the time of this vid
I see if I can't find some vids of 4wd burnouts
Not a powerjokes stock motor, the warrenties out the window for real power. Who would want there aftermarket parts replaced with stock ones?
I would think $300-400 to fix more of a guess I don’t know much about the Safari, but stop driving it. If you trash the pump it going to get costly not to mention that’s a major fire hazard.
