i've heard both items, the kicker rmb8 and the pg elites 6.5 in seperate applications. that being said, the elite speakers are very nice, designed by PG assembled by morel, they have a very detailed tweeter and a nice midbass presence, but that depends on the install. q-forms are not going to...

it's a good deal, type r's are nice for that price. why in god's name anyone would pay over 100 for one is just beyond me. you definitely should see what the warranty covers....some (most) don't cover burnt voice coils, etc, anything do to user error...so maybe it'd be 30 bones down the drain...

Hifonics brutus is great! i have b1000xd powering a brahma. no longer a red hot waffle iron RF that i used to have. (rf was good, just the amount of heat made me nervous, i guess it's just the heat sink working.......) the JBL 1200.1 is alright but 1 ohm stable? i'm not exactly sure.

i'd agree with the brahma, not just because i have one.... the w6ae's were great, but now they're nothing special, if you ported them they'ed obviously be louder...... I think the brahma is something you might want to spring on, more trunk space (if sealed). i have the same amp powering mine...
