My dad has 4" JL Audio's in his Jeep dash. Sounds decent for the money. It's a 4x6 opening but he went with a 4" speaker.

Just by some Jensens and save your money. If you blew one set of speakers you'll probably blow another set. Leave the factory deck in and just replace the broke speakers.

The JL is a good amp. I don't understand why people are trying to talk you out of it. People who say "there is better for the money" are only saying it just because of the anti JL online cliche.
