Yep.
It was his dads Lamborghini and he told everyone it was his. I HAD a ton of screenshots of all his BS and screwing people over on here back then.

I've been seeing so many people talk about skar audio and stuff and I haven't ever read what really got people hating skar.. So what is wrong with them?

Crazy that all the good threads from back in the day that had proof of Kevin being a scamming POS, JP being a Pedo, Murphy screwing people, CT sounds BS, ETC were all deleted with some admin bribing.

All the forums use to get pretty wild back in the day. I browsed for nearly 20 years before signing up to this one (I didn’t like having a bunch of accounts at different websites, so took years to sign up to many), but I use to read the forums all the time. Was so much going on it was hard to keep track of it all.

Anyone remember when that guy tried to start up the brand FLXX (green baskets and stitching) to compete with brands like Sundown yet keep the prices lower. There was a whole lot of drama around those subs not being as good / handling the same power. That was like 2010-2012 give or take. I remember it big on CACO, but was talked about on other forums too. Pretty sure that guy gave up after that first import pallet of subs.

Yeah IIRC Nick for Stereo Integrity/Obsidian audio tested them against his OA sub and the FLXX failed with rated power. I had two Obsidian 12s on an Audioque 1200 back then. Ahhh the good ole days.

Nice looking setup, and yeah that sounds right. On one hand I felt bad for the guy, on the other he shouldn’t have been name dropping other brands until he had his subs tested well enough first to confirm they could in fact compare, when reality was they couldn’t even handle full rated. I did like the green baskets though.

Then there was the RD Audio (I think that was the brand), that had a model amplifier that was just sht and basically un-repairable. Was a big thread on not getting warranty on those or something, but was long enough ago I forget exactly.

Lots of entertainment on the forums years ago.

Too many knockoffs now. Kenford, Rockwood, etc are now plain China stuff.

Skar is now considered as big company. Kevin might have been bullied from here, but he's huge successful now. I'm sure he has a couple Lambos of his own.

If you actually think about it, the only really good brands, from the 90's, that are still good today, are brands like JL Audio, Kicker, Rockford, Pioneer, MTX, and Arc Audio.
