2014 Chevy Sonic has 0 audio in the car

No the blue label "rem out" is a trigger wire buildt into head units
It triggers when the head unit turns on
For amplifiers
When head unit turns on that blue wire will send the juices to your am to turn on

Ok I think I understand, you're saying instead of wiring the headunit and the sub/amp combo both individually in to the fuse box I can wire the control wire for the sub/amp to the remote out and then wire the headunit into the fuse box so when the car starts, it'll start the headunit which will wake up the sub/amp? I also can only really do this once I figure out why the car has no chimes.

Correct

But remember the chimes go through your radio
No radio no chimes

Did you check the fuse on the back of the boss head unit? It should control even the power to head unit
But I would check it Just in case it a fuse just for the built in amplifier in the head unit

But I had my radio plugged in and on and it had 0 audio as well as having 0 chimes, the radio was on with no chimes or audio basically. I haven't checked the fuse on the back of the radio, I'm not sure I understand your reason for why to check it. But I will fs redo the wiring in the way you told me to, that seems way easier to do then multiple add a fuses.

It powered up fine but you had no audio

If that fuse in back of head unit is for the built in amplifier then you won't have sound cause no amplifier = no sound

Also there is a setting in your deck to turn the built in amplifier on and off
If that's off that means no amplifier no sound

Not sure why it would mysteriously just go to off
But because the feature is there and your audio went silent it's something you will need to confirm
Regardless

That's the menu you need to be in to confirm it's on
"Internal amplifier"

What I read online was that when I put two add a fuses into fuses that run with the BCM system, the whole BCM system can lock up and thats why I lost all audio so im not sure if thats applicable or not. I will check the fuse in a little bit and also check and make sure the internal amp setting is on, when I do such I will let you know what happened

If your bcm glitched and it won't reset by disconnecting both battery terminal and touching them together for 10 mins to drain on board caps in electronics
Then you may need a local mechanic to diagnose/reset/repair bcm

I had been possibly looking into someone in my area that does auto electrical to see if it was the bcm but im trying to do everything possible before resorting to that.

There seems to be some basic reset and relearn procedures for chevy bcm you can try out if need be
Easily googled
after resetting the bcm I have audio again and I have rewired the stereo and the sub, thank you so much for your help. I dont need the stupid chimes and I'm not super experienced with this so im not going to mess with it anymore lol.
