Do not forget to get a warranty and activate it.
Optima Yellow Top
XS Power
I can afford it. I just didn’t know if I really need to buy the name brand or what numbers I’m looking for. Amp hours , reverse capacity ?Walmart sells optimas. If you can't afford that or think they're too expensive you got the wrong hobby.
Just buy the largest agm that fits. The premium brands like XS power are better, but not by much. ( like 5% stronger ) Unless you’re competing and you’re chasing every last tenth of a amp, I wouldn’t spend the extra money .
Yeah I don’t really see anybody running those anymore..I think I’m just going to get the biggest agm that fitsDon't buy optima...they're long past their glory days
Optimas are trash.
Literally the largest AGM from the auto parts stores, sams club, walmart that you can fit.

Ok I’ll have to check it out..thanksI got my XS Power Group 47 AGM from Crutchfield as a blemished battery. Paid close to what an AGM cost at Advance Auto. I paid $288.79. The Group 47 AGM at Advance is $244.99. The "blem" was a nick on the bottom of the outside case. Can't even see it when installed.
You don't need a name brand. Truth is, there are hundreds of different brand AGM batteries out there, but there are only a few manufacturers. Look for the AH you want and go with that. However, if you see a battery with an AH of 100, but it's the size of a 30ah battery, chances are, it's a 30ah battery.I can afford it. That's why I tell people about Sam's Duracell agms. When I bought one for my delta and replaced the one in my Saturn the Duracell was 15 and 30 bucks cheaper than orielly's had and a lot cheaper then NapaYou don't need a name brand.
