What subs ?

I might note then if you are adding a new alternator, you might want to connect before the amplifier two capacitors in series. Electrolytic. The caps blocks off any DC offset or component and passes only AC components with the signals. This so that your amps don’t go into shut down mode. It’s an electronic concept that you or some haven’t come across yet. Called the coupling capacitor

I was thinking about adding second battery or put a nice one in place of the regular one in there now..would the help with what your say?

I'd start with the biggest agm you can fit under in battery compartment. With 2k you really shouldn't need a second battery with a 250a alt.

That’s what I was thinking..so any agm, doesn’t have to be XS power ones?

I like the Duracell ones Sam's club sells because of the price but there's no need for xs $$$ with a 2k amp in all honesty. Depending on the vehicle 2k is right about the line whether to upgrade the electrical.

And unless you're playing test tones...you'll rarely see that 2000 watts. With music you might see it for a split second. You'd honestly be amazed how little of the available power actually gets used in a daily 😂

It’s in a suburban..I’ll probably upgrade the amp later just running the rp2000 now on skar sdr 10s..it was an old system I had laying around but Im up grading ..I’m excited about the Sa v2..never had a nice set of subs but I know electrical is key
