I have a new DMH-WT7600NEX and with Carplay I can not get anyone to explain to me why my incoming and outgoing phone calls and text messages only play throught my driver side front speakers. Is this intentional or is there a setting tht will allow them to play through all the speakers in the car??

It sounds like you're experiencing an issue with your DMH-WT7600NEX's audio settings. I recommend checking the audio output settings in the CarPlay menu or the head unit's settings. There may be an option to adjust the audio balance or to enable full-range audio for phone calls and messages. If the problem persists, consulting the user manual or contacting customer support for the unit may provide a solution.

Thank you. This head unit has a Audio/Graphic equalizer. The text just goes to one speaker along with the audio. Come out of the left Front only, every time. You cannot split 4 ways the signals for the carPlay text to radio connection. So it goes all to the left front. It's done. They made it that way.

I was able to contact Pioneer and they were absolutely no help. The person just kept reading through the manual, like I have not done that already. In the end no solution.

I had a similar issue and it turned out my phone’s Bluetooth permissions were off for calls and texts—double check your phone’s connected device settings and toggle those permissions on.

What helped was checking the audio balance and making sure CarPlay wasn’t set to “front speakers only.” While testing, we also ran a few calls through a sip trunk provider, which made it easy to hear if the audio was routing properly across all channels.
