Audible difference between AB and D class - four channel?

Hi!

I'm stuck between two amps that I've narrowed down:

Alpine MRV-f300 (D) and Alpine BBX-F1200 (AB).

Both of these match the specs I'm looking for. They will;
-push four KS series 3.5"
-push two KS series 6"x9". (bridged).

The BBX will output 130w into two channels, while MRV will output 150w. Minor difference for the 6x9, but oh well.

Big question is, will the audio quality even be audible and noticeable between the two classes? Or will this difference be rather negligible. Both are accessible and decently priced. I've acquired one MRV for $100. Wondering if I should get the other, or go with the two BBXs.

Thank you!

You'd probably wouldn't hear the difference imo

Ab amps are less efficient so they need more power than a class d to produce the same watts

Unless you drive a Bently or Rolls, you will not notice the difference. However, an AB amp has more speaker control than a class-D amp. The class-D is more efficient, but the AB amps prevent more distortion. If you look at the absolute highest end amps, they are class-A amps, which is the cleaner version of the AB amps.

you wont hear it. If you are comparing ab to d across the same brand along the same price points, wont tell. I have flipped between class ab and class d. The only time I could tell the difference was going from a very good old school class ab to a mid tier class d. The reality was that was not a fair comparison to start with. The efficiency and size have been enough for me to stay there. Again, I do believe class A/B can be better but for the average amps people use and are not into true SQ, in a daily you wont tell unless you buy a flea market crap D.
