First gen C70 usually are convertibles.

The plan was tweets and mids in the A-pillars but I was tired of having no music so I put them in the stock locations for what I though would be temporary but never completed the pillars mod. The magnets of the 430s are too wide to fit them in the stock dome mids locations so I surface mounted them.

I used black speaker grill cloth as finishing.

Tweeters also went in stock locations but with aluminum pods.

I don't have many (or can't find) pictures of making the kick pods but can't stress enough how manly it feels to go in a dollar store to buy stockings.

Here's the result also finished with speaker cloth. Remember, I was supposed to eventually get a black interior.

I really don't consider myself a baller. I've just been buying/selling/trading for so long to get to this point in the hobby. At least I use what I have. Some guys are just hoarding and never built anything.

Not much sound proofing was made. I just wanted music asap and planned to do it later. Glad I didn't now. I want to keep the car as light as possible. I only did the rear seat panel and the upper deck with damplifier over vibraflex. I'll keep that since it makes the ride feel stiffer.

I can't track anymore good pictures. The sub was in a custom slot port box. 1.6 or 1.8 cu.ft. (can't recall exactly) @ 32hz. Nothing special really.

Now, I have to start all over again. Kind of unmotivated at the moment to be honest even tho what I have planned is absolutely epic. On top of this new build and fixing the Volvo, I also want to build a downhill bike for next summer. Everything fun is so fucking expensive!
