So I'm redoing my box and fixing stuff I did wrong because I was in a rush last time. So I'm gonna screwing all my cable inside my box down. The question i have is where should I put this wire. There's a Rattle I hear when I play the sub and it's not the sub I know that for sure so I'm starting to think it's the top of the box (because I never glued it down and just used deck screw) but then also was thinking it could be this wire or the wires in the box. I was going to zip tie it the frame of the sub but I don't think that will work

Here's the rattling I'm talking about (since I changed my box it's not frequent and only happens at certain frequency)

You could use a few zip ties strung together (or one big long one) and cinch it to the motor / basket area. Can also shorten that wire up so it nestles into that area better and less to flop around, if it is actually causing a problem.

Lastly, while playing music and you hear the rattling noise, press down on the subwoofer gasket / frame, also the top baffle (and other nearby wood joints) to see if you can make the noise stop, might need to press pretty hard. A rattling loose sub or box joint can sound like that.

Hard to say without really inspecting it all well.

Cover it with a soft wire loom, such as Alex Tech 10ft - 1/2 inch Cord Protector Wire Loom Tubing Cable Sleeve Split Sleeving. Or you can use cable straps that screw into the wood. It doesn't sound like the wiring is causing your problem.

What could be causing my problem? Could it be the stock alternator and it's not getting enough power or could it be when it's clipping? I'm just trying to figure out what that sound is
Hard to say without being there. I would play the sub out of the box, while having a family member or friend adjust the volume from your head unit. That leaves you free to observe the sub and hopefully identify any problems. If the sub behaves okay, turn your attention to the box or other areas........

I tested the subwoofer a while ago and they were fine. But when I put in the new box rattle still prosisted (I didn't glue on the top of the sub box and the screw were obviously weak if the sub blew out of it) so do you think i really need to test out of the box again or put it back together with gluing the top down and the right screws and see what happens?

Tested the sub free air and no rattle I went higher in volume (but not to high bc I know it'll reach its xmax quicker that way) and there was still no rattle so that's a good sign
