Hey what's a decent 12" l7 box on Amazon? I know prefab is not ideal but it's a temp setup and I got a lot of Amazon gift cards.

Prefabs work great if you keep within parameters. You can find them specific for your sub at a higher price ($200-$500). If you get an affordable one (under $200), check it is 3/4" all around. Then pre-drill and add 1-5/8" screws on all cover panel's perimeter. I have used pre-fabs with success doing that option.

If you're going to add screws to the panels, then I'd suggest dowels instead. Really shouldn't be necessary if the box was properly glued. A properly glued seam should be stronger than the wood itself.

Really shouldn't be necessary if the box was properly glued. A properly glued seam should be stronger than the wood itself.

I was, no way to log in after computer problems. I couldn't log in but its been awhile since I've been on the site and some things have changed. I can't remember exactly how but by choosing a type of login i was able to recover one of my original users. I tried to get the password reset back then iirc but nothing happened so I started #2. Now I guess I have my older user back.
