I know it takes time like that.. but it works pretty good. Ive got several sets of tweeters and thats how I usually do it.. Other than in my SPL set ups.. I just put in the loudest Highest DB, most power rated Tweets I have rather than the Ugly Bullets that I do not care for.

If Each tweeter has an Angled mounting existing pod set. Id try those and use Tape(duct Tape or Packing Tape works fine) to place on the bottom and stick them in different locations where you would place them and try them to see which tweeter sounds best even free air taped in a spot. Enclosed they should sound a lot fuller once sealed up in a pod. You will still have tuning options of course to brighten them up or tone them down

The only downside is for some reason, this part of the country skips over the nice part of fall, you know, the 70's and goes from the mid to upper 80's to the 50's seemingly over night. So now I am battling rain and cold. I am trying to do all this quickly before snow comes again.

Right.. Im in TX and its getting down in the high 50s at night and today was like 52 in the morning and didnt warm up into the 70s until almost noon for me to work on a few things that needed attention outside.
Back in the day.. When I Lived in APTS. Id find a spot that had an Awning in parking areas no one was using.. or Id end up at an Old School Car wash that no one hardly uses anymore or find a Parking garage in the city if I were close to the City that day, spend all day in a non paid parking garage.. Like a Mall or something even? Ive even used a drive through at a Bank late at night that are closed lanes even. LOL

Had a brain fart. I don't remember if I bought the optional remote for my DSP. I couldn't find it in the house, can't find record of the purchase so I just bought one on Amazon. AC AC-3 remote. I may end up with two lol. I swear, I try to keep all car audio gear together. I have a storage solution with three drawers with nothing but car audio stuff in it and stuff still spills out and finds its way under the bed... by the cabinet... by or on my desk... back seat of the car lol.

LOL. Well at least you know you have one now, and deff. be under warranty returns time frame on it.?? Ive got like 4 shelves with amps ect ,subs on floors speakers in boxes stacked on top of each other from heavy weight to light weight, tweeters, Boxes of Fuses, Fuse holders, wire, RCAs,Eqs indash and Externals,Hus, ect in an a 12x14 audio room inside the house, usually pretty organized placed . But.. I do forget what I have and I usually go digging and find stuff I already have and buy it 2-3 times ?? My memory fades from time to time these days?? If you find your other and if it works fine? Send the newer one back, or keep either or for a backup?

Been gone all day it seems but I got the DSP mounted at least. Battling an earache. Here is what the rack looks like. Nothing else going on it. When I put the Smart3 in there it will be where the 1200 is behind the rack.

Looks good man.!! Take your time. I hate an ear ache. Ill get them from time to time. Once a Year ill go to the Dr. and get a real cleaning,that usually helps. There are other ways to do at home easily too. always take care of yourself man. Things can wait

I am using Knukonceptz RCA's and these two pair match my Knukonceptz speaker wires from the two channel amp to the doors. Shame you can't see the sleeve's on the RCA's.

Executive decision made and you will slap your forehead when I tell you my reason. I am lazy lol. These tweeters are my only set with their own mounts that have speaker wires already attached. So!!! It's going to be the Dayton Ti domes the first go round!! No clue how they sound as I have never put power to them. I am going to put inline on each tweeter a 15uF 100v capacitor for protection.

The wiring will be wrapped in Tesa tape and secured to the A-Pillars. Now I run the wires from the amp to the pillars, connect the amplifiers to the DSP, connect power to the mids and highs amp and start tuning!!!!

I tried using my "Panorama" setting on my phones camera... she may have problems. The pillars don't look too bad. Mids are aimed right at me and the tweeters are ever so slightly off axis. They are aimed more directly between the front seat headrest.

I may have to hook the mids and highs amp first before connecting to the speakers. I keep forgetting I have to set the gains on that amp.

Those look kinda large. id be worried about a buldge or the panel bowing??? Maybe not
