Top suggestions for 4ch SQ amp

Fair enough
Look at the same company for subs
https://www.americanbassusa.com/xd-10-d4.html
They have some 400-500 watt versions that are good and even cheaper so...
As for amp to run it I would look at the Sundown Audio SFB-1000D
https://www.woofersetc.com/c-3-ampl...s-class-d-amplifier-fullrange-full-range.html
If you want to get the most out of the amp you have to run it at 1 ohm which means if your getting DVC subs make them dual 4ohm
If they are SVC subs then you might want to up the size of the amp
Look for something that runs about 1000 watts at 2ohms in that case

Looks like solid options. However I should have stated I am looking for subs requiring much less power. Typically 400-500rms. Not wanting to tax the stock electrical system or ad a battery.

These Dayton's might work for you. 600 watts rms.

Smart! Most people don’t consider the electrical system when building an audio system. I shouldn’t say “most”, but I will say, not enough people take time to do the math on power requirements. People just look at how many watts their amps and speakers can handle but never think about where all that power is gonna come from.

I ran into a buddy at the gas station, while checking out his system he explained he’s running a total of 10k watts, on stock electrical…ok bud 🤣

When I get asked about my system...I almost always get that "are you stupid look" when I tell them how much I'm into it on just electrical upgrades 🤣

For $500 a sub I would think the SSA Icons might be the ticket, I hear really good things about them from a SQL standpoint, and they are said to hammer if you want them too.

Although I'm not a fan of DD's new layout for the amps I have to agree Anthony.
Only time will tell if they can stay on top of their game now that they have sold out so get now while the getting is good

Have you considered Sundown? Their SALT 1700.5 has more than enough power for the entire system.

I have heard a lot of good things about the Crescendo Audio Symphony S4 4-channel amp. But, compared to the other recommendations you’ve received, I think this amp is considerably less expensive than the others you’ve received. It does crank out 140 watts RMS and is a Class D which will help with electrical requirements. Also, it has a pretty small footprint.
