Anyone have any issues with Bluetooth bass knob for their jp63 amp. Mine was working fine. I got in truck this morning started truck and the clip light is staying on.the clip light on the amp isn’t on just the blue power light and I get no output from the amp.

I have heard other ppl with the same complaints and spotty customer service. Which lead me to another company. Hopefully you get it resolved.

Same here, seems on the couple forums I visit there is a lot more negative than positive being said when it comes to these amps and the customer service.

Watch a Big D wiz video you would think they are the best thing out there.

Who’s to say that the amplifiers that Big D got from Down4Sound hadn’t been double checked to make sure that they were perfect before they sent them to him. It wouldn’t be the first time a company sent a ‘special’ piece of equipment for an evacuation.

I have not heard of any issues. I would get ahold of Down4Soumd and have it warrantied. I mean, every company is gonna have failures. Let us know how it goes
Ok will do. I’ve had this amp for a year now and it’s been a really good amp I have no other complaints other than that Bluetooth bass knob. U have to have it linked with the amp to use the amp,and it takes like 10 full rotations to go from 0 to 100

Think jp said there was a revision on the knob rotation issue. Hopefully you can resolve quickly.

Well, I sent my jp63 off for repair and there was a blown ic on the Bluetooth board. Turns out u don’t have to use or have the bass knob paired with the amp in order to use the amp, however the Bluetooth board must be functioning

Amp repair guy e-mailed me on my jp63 amp and after putting new ic on Bluetooth board it seems that the board is bad and he can’t get that card for some reason so he sending it back unrepaired. I’ve started e-mail with down4sound to see if maybe one of their techs can fix it.

I have two jp63s and I sent both in for repairs on caps and one amp was sent back with more damages and now my bluetooth bass knobs don't work they both are stuck on scan for one amp ill have to check my other amp tomorrow and see if it does the same thing after paying so much for the amps and both blow caps with in a week not even bumping hard then sent both out for repairs and they took 4 months to fix, bad customer service hard to get in contact with them at times and now this, it was not worth the money for all this trouble and headaches

Ya I tried contacting d4s too and the sales rep was nice guy responding to my e-mails and said he was gonna send my invoice to warranty but they never e-mailed back so I just ended up taking a loss and traded mine in to amp lab on a salt 8k. Amp lab gave me 400$ for jp amp

Somehow not shocked by this at all. Been hearing reports about those amps being nothing but issues from the get go. I know they even brought a V2 and heard issues with those as well. Just another reason not to buy from them imho.

Hi, my JP63’s Bluetooth bass knob stuck at “Scn”. It was working fine since 4 months. Now it is not connecting to the amplifier. Is this bass knob faulty or is fault in the amplifier?

I'd rather have the volt meter on the knob personally
