Tweeters Playing Very Low Frequencies (120HZ+)

I have looked at several sellers to see the jumper switch but none have it pictured. Would you post a picture of it?
Here you go, the jumper is on the input side

Since home audio is designed for 8 Ohms, I do not know if that factored into playing as it should. Could you connect the speakers direct to the car radio?
Well I’ll be. So it functions perfectly when I play it straight to the head unit like you suggested.

so does this mean the amp is faulty?

That is strange. The amp should not be able to over ride the passive x-over. All settings on the amp look correct, so now the only culprit is the amp. Do you have access to another amp?
I don’t ATM, super strange how the amp could be the issue, because ultimately x-over should be blocking it.

This is a tricky one. Is the bass boost jacked up on the amp or hu?

Anybody else notice that either the crossover is 6db or only crosses the tweeter at 12db?

I lost interest when he said BASE. How have the tweeters not blown already? I had some tweets crossed over wrong and they were smoking immediately. Something sounds weird. Are your tweets playing 80 hz notes? If they are then what tweets are you running?

🤣 good catch got me on that one.

Around 120 hz is when they kick in. all that info is at the beginning of the thread. Sony XS-162ES’ are what I’m running. Attached is a photo of how the crossover is hooked up.

also mentioned previously the crossover works fine on my home system off of my Denon and also works when I play straight off the head unit and don’t use the amp.
