I have a 0g wire with a 200a fuse. My question is is it safe and or okay to run it with a 450w draw from my amp. I guess I’m buying cheap and putting off buying the 8g wire kit with a 35-50 amp fuse

You fuse for the wire, not the amp. If the amp requires an external fuse, you run your 0ga to a distribution block, then run smaller gauge to the amp with the proper fuse in-line on the smaller wire.

Depending on how long your 0ga is and what type, 200a should be safe.

The numbers and questions make me think you should start with more basic questions. 200a at 12v is over 2,000 watts. 450w at 12v is roughly 37a. 0g wire is a LOT bigger than 8g wire.

It mostly comes down to weight. You can have a super lightweight cone, soft suspension and aluminum coil on a sub and you pretty much get a pro...
