Also.. haven't built the enclosure yet. Not sure how the SQL (I think that's what the kids are calling it?) Of the amp would be affected? But the backseat is useless for humans over the age of 7. So I want to try and build it down firing (it's a convertible) but also be able to toss shit back there without worrying about damaging the subs. Amps will be hidden under the trunk floor where the stock amp is and the stupid tire changing tool kit.
Both of these amps I have are in good working condition. The Ti had a bit of a rough adventure the last time I moved but it's all cosemtic. They're both supposed to be very underrated but I can't find any real life numbers. I can say the PA is noticeably larger and heavier than the PG?

I can't find anything on the 600 but the 1200 did almost double its rated power at 1 ohm stereo (1150 a side)
The 1200 is essentially 2 600's put together so it would be fair to say you could get 550- 600 a side out of it (1100-1200 total)
They are not as durable as the old M series that you could run down to .5 ohm though so I don't really suggest running it at 1 ohm for extended periods of time

Yea I can only find the manual for the ZX online. And they publish the ratings very interestingly.. it'll do 300x2 at 2ohm. Then a couple lines down it says minimum load stereo.... 1ohm.
Soooo... 600x1 bridged @4ohm... But says it'll handle 2ohm bridged? So 1200?!
Is this a "bass knob" or does it adjust the LP crossover?

I will give you an example
When they first came out I guy I knew had one running 4 Dr Crankenstien 12's in a VW van
He lived not far from me
I could hear him coming up the hill when he came home a night
5-6 blocks away easy
I hated that guy

Bahaha! And his VW van was probably constantly rattling apart.
Dropped the PG amp in last night and it powered up but no output.. and there's a red light on in the opposite window from the thermal and overload lights. Got it bridged on a 4 ohm sub.. aww shucks.

Haha! It was user error... I got it to play but it's got something crazy going on. If I mess with the gain it'll like cut in for a second then cut out. And there's some very odd noise I never heard from a sub before. Kinda sounds like a baby possum is trapped in the box and tryna get out
