My amp is draining the battery while parked?

You removed the fuse and had no problems. So did you try a new fuse?

No I didn't think of replacing the fuse. Only I don't know how a bad fuse would cause a drain when the Sequoia is parked and turned off?

There is another way to trouble shoot it
Those of us who can't replace the stock HU's run a fuse tap as the remote wire
Its a $10-15 part from any auto supply shop

You just disconnect the the remote wire from the back of your head unit and run it to you car's fuse box
Take the tap and pull a fuse that doesn't stay on RAP
I usually use the sunroof or the wipers
Attach the wire to to the tap and put the fuse you pulled plus another 5 amp fuse into the tap
Now plug it in to the spot where you pulled the fuse from and bob's your uncle
It will either work and the problem is solved or if it doesn't then the problem is with the amp and not the HU

It wouldn't. Bad fuse opens a circuit. It doesn't create parasitic drain.
