Looking for Amplifier sizing help

I have one of these in a sealed 1.5 cuft. box:

I am looking for an amplifier, but it's hard to find many that can drive an 8 ohm sub at its prescribed wattage. Can someone please help me by recommending an amplifier that will suffice? (I would like an easy way to control it from the driver's seat) Or perhaps I am misunderstanding the impedance factor and can buy an "under-rated" amp? I am very new to this. Also, I am after quality sound, not "loudness." Cheers.

Thanks for the rec. Looks like a good value, but I'm seeing some reviews that say the quality is poor below 40hz. Hearsay or fact?

Sell off that 8 ohm sub and get yourself a Dayton Audio sub from Partsexpress. Nobody runs 8 ohms in their car/truck.

To give yourself more options as far as amps and wiring go. Get yourself a dual 2 or 4 ohm voice coil sub that is designed for car audio.

If you stick with that 8 ohm sub, then, the Taramps MD1800.1 4 ohm version will be plenty strong enough at 8 ohms (1,050 watts). The amp doesn't create the low Bass, the box and speaker do.

You should probably Google all of the parameters of a sub to get a better understanding of subwoofers. But, your best bet is to sell yours and buy a nice quality dual 2 or 4 ohm subwoofer. Dual 2 would probably be best. Then, you can either wire 1 or 4 ohm.
