First ever amplifier

just tell us a budget and we'll let you know whats the best out there for the money. As long as your subwoofer's ohm loads match with the amp it doesnt matter how much stronger the amp is compared to the sub's RMS wattage rating. you can control how much wattage the amp outputs via gain settings.

Ive already got a sub with a built in amp, no need for that yet, looking to buy a 4 channel amp for the door speakers actually, have 4 6.5s that each rate about 80 watts RMS and my head unit is aftermarket, but isnt enough to power the speakers, only putting out i believe 50 watts (i am open to speaker suggestions as well) my budget would be about 200-300 maximum on the amp

that pioneer n2audio recommended would be a good first amp for you.

again never look at max watts you arent getting anywhere near 50 watts.  Aftermarket head units are10-15 watts at best even if they rate it 22 watts rms.

Max power, peak power, just plain power numbers, throw ALL THAT TO THE TRASH.   only thing that matters is RMS numbers but garbage companies can lie on those numbers as well.

What you want to do is look up amplifier dyno videos on youtube, its hooked up to a machine that shows if its making rated power or not.

Hate to say it but 1/2 of what you got is garbage stuff....not to mention shouldn't look for max/peak  watts
