dont go cheap with a amp for this sub, i had a memphis pr 1.1000 running this and it sounded great for SQ and bass delivery
if u can find a used cadence txa1000d in the classifieds somewhere.

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.
