got the motor and restored it after it had sat in 5 feet of Hurricane Sandy flood waters for a week

picture shows when i got it, then after a little WD-40:

No hate bros. People have been doing it like that for years.
 
I built the recone kit. I still use clips around the surround. im a toolmaker and rings would be easy but you can see better what ur doing with the clips.
