Theory does not equal hypothesis equals conjecture.

Theory is a scientific explanation of a hypothesis.

As used in science, a theory is an explanation or model based on observation, experimentation, and reasoning, especially one that has been tested and confirmed as a general principle helping to explain and predict natural phenomena. Any scientific theory must be based on a careful and rational examination of the facts.

What cracks me up is that the difference between 1 ohm and 4 ohms is only 4db. Uh... correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't a 3db difference 'twice as loud' to the ear? So, the tiny little 4db difference is... well its actually pretty big.

10 db in "THEORY" is twice as loud it takes double the power in "THEORY" to increase 3db

I thought going from 120db to 130db was ten times as loud, since decibels work on a logarithmic scale //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
