Would the ability of the DLS being able to drive 1ohm/channel (2ohm/mono) loads be useful to you? Or would the Zed's ability to bandpass the rear channels be beneficial to your install?

Also, what price difference is there ?

Both are good quality. Both output relatively equivalent power into 4ohm/2ohm stereo loads. But the Zed has the ability to bandpass the rear channels, and the DLS has the ability to drive 1ohm/channel loads.

are you asking which one will sound better?.... I don't think amps have a meaningful contribution in terms of sq... if they are well built and produce about the same power, they should sound the same(given that the distortion is unaudible and such). Any variation in sound can be corrected with processing in majority of cases so the difference in sound between a brax and maybe a jbl due to internal processing and such should be easily corrected by a processor.

I choose an amp based on build quality, customer service, and looks (and tuning features if i'm using the built in processing). I would choose the zed because my amps are hidden so looks are irrelevent, the build quality is very good, and you get customer service directly from steven mantz. Oh and not to mention the zed is cheaper.

However, if i were building a competition vehicle or want to show off my amps, i would go with the a4. it just looks better to me.

Have a Zed and love my Zed. Better than my xtants and soundstream ref series hand down.

One thing to keep in mind. It is big. I mean really big.
