I am looking for an amp to power a single FI Q 12" ATM, I will later be adding another Q, but I don't want to have to buy an additional amp. These are the specs I need for the amp

1000-1200w rms @ 4ohms

and

1800-2200w rms @ 2ohms

If you have any good suggestions please list them for me.

kicker ZX2500 will do like 2500 at 2 ohms, and 1200/1300ish at 4 ohms..

That MTX1501D amp isn't NOWHERE near powerful enough. Specs on that amp are 500 @ 4ohms 1000 @ 2ohms. Please read the thread thouroughly b4 responding...........Thanx.

I might be able to deal with that. YGPM. Just know that I am in no rush, as I would like to get a few more options b4 I buy.

have you bought the Q yet?

Dual 4s: IA 20.1

Dual 2s: Sundown 1500D (you'd have to turn the gain down a bit until you get the second Q. Run the amp at .5 ohms when you add the other sub.)
