I just had a quick question for anyone willing to lend me advice. Im in the market for a pair of 10" (possibly 12" if affordable). Im going to be able to spend around $200 for the pair. and i listen to a lot of house and trance music and stuff of that nature so i need some subs that can keep up with the beat of the music. I had some Diamond Audio 12d4's in mind. What do you think? I do not have an amp yet, ill be buying that depending on the subs i end up with. Also im going for pretty good sound quality with a pretty hard thump. So if anyone has any advice for a newbie like me i would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

you could get a pair of diamond cm3 12" on ebay for a hair over 200 shipped. build a nice sealed box for them and they should be able to sound good and be pretty loud.

I have heard that house music and trance dosent sound good on most subs. But like I have said before it is all install dependent. Diamonds are a good choice for most listening types. Good luck!

yeah ive never heard any electronic music sound just exceptional on a pair of subs, but im gonna see what i can do with it. I appreciate the advice, any thoughts on the amp to push those diamond cm3 12" for $250 or less?
