Your first system ever

Some Pioneer head unit, Profile AP2000 amp and 2 Earthquake 12" subs. Built the box according to Earthquake specs. I had a full size Chevy van at the time, so it wasn't near enough air movement. Looking back, I'm pretty sure I was clipping them somewhat. I remember them getting stinky when I turned it up. Considering I knew nothing about setting the gain back then, I'm not surprised. I gave that equipment to my buddy to "hold for me" when I went to basic training, put it in his sedan, and it sounded good in there. I have been waiting to build a real system of my own since then. He still has that stuff.

A Prefab Rockford Fosgate 5th order bandpass with 8" subs on a Sherwood 240, Pioneer DEH 880 HU running Pioneer co-Axials.

It was in a brand new 1991 Toyota regular cab. I remember I had an 8 guage power wire running underneath the vinyl floor. It came out under the seat. One day, I slid the seat back and grounded the wire. Before the fuse blew, it melted the shielding on some of it and also some of my flooring.

my first system is my current system all done by me lol

HAT Imagines running active off of PPI BK800.4

2 10" 2012 Alpine Type Rs (10D4) running of crescendo bc2000

Deadened doors and trunk

Stock HU with Audiocontrol LC2i

...not bad for a first system!

gonna upgrade my speakers to the HAT Clarus soon

My 15th birthday my mom got me a car and i wanted bass in it so bad... so i took our home stereo sytem, got a converter and took the house woofer and wired up. She got pissed when she realized it was gone, she then bought me a lanzer/pioneer 600 watt setup
