my first system was 2 10" jbls in a small sealed box with a 2 channel sony xplod 800 watt amp with 8 gauge wiring as hotwire, i then upgraded to knuconcept 4 gauge, a hifonics hifi 1000d, and a 12" cadence striker ( think its like 6 years old) limited edition in a prefab ported box, and now i have 2 sa 8 v.2's slowly workin there way here, 1/0 knukonceptz wire on its way and a crescendo bc 2k on its way, and in the midst of building them a custom box XD

hmm, i remember having a sony with the dial nob(bout 14 years ago) cant remember the model. I had a single 12w1v1 in a home audio style ported box if i remember correctly. Had a Rockwood (yes rockwood if anyone remembers those) running it and i think the amp lasted about a week. Wasnt long before i ran decent equipment tho. my brother "handed" down a pair of 12w6's and an orion hcca 225 shortly after that. That setup sounded awesome.

first setup was a RF P3 shallow in a midgate box in my avalanche, had a Alpine iva 505 and some low end focal 6.5s. i thought it was the s^$*

second setup was a jl 12" w7 on a mrp 1000, again thought i was the sh*&

now im building my next setup, which is my sig

My first system was in a 1989 subaru loyale wagon. This was around 1993. Clarion cd head unit, Orion cobalt 260 for the subs, orion cobalt 430 for the fronts and rears. I had 1 Orion XTR 12 with the blue X(single VC 4ohm) in a sealed enclosure. Kenwood coaxials front and rear. I was 16 and had gotten my first job at a stereo shop. It was called Lou Storms auto sound in Bel Air, MD. I wish I had some pics of it, those were the days.

Started with 2 Dual 12's, then to 2 Sony 12's, then 2 Powerbass 15's, then 4 Memphis PR 12's, then 2 Memphis PR 12's, then 2 Kicker L5 12's, then 2 Kicker CVR 15's, then 1 Oldschool Rockford 15, then 1 Solo X 18, then 3 Lanzar Optidrive 1232 D's, and now I'm sitting on some RE MX 12's. Wow I never really noticed how many subs I've really owned. I'm sure I missed some that I can't remember.

i had 2jbl 10's in a ported box powered by a mtx 250d amp .. slammed in my hatch mustang lol . then went to 4 cadence beast 10's on a ppi pcx 1000w ... then took the pcx and put it on a orion 15"sub.. got out of the game forever now have 2 10 w3v3's in my truck off a jl slash 1000

Oh yes I had an Alpine 9883 2 blaupunkt vw1000 10's on a profile 2 channel amp in a prefab sealed box with a walmart schosche 4 gauge kit with the capacitor. I even still use the wire and the rcas out of that kit. I just regret selling those subs. :/

A Visonik 10" sub in a sealed box with a 200 watt Visonik amp. It was a combo package you could buy at pep boys lol

2 15" Mtx terminators (1 half blown) on a Pyramid gold amp with a nice (att) pioneer tape deck. I was 16 and got everything for under 100 iirc.

Kenwood kac-626 amp(brother-in-law still has it in his basment) running 2 RF series 1 12's (the first year RF made them)

I picked up a ported box (with built in super tweeters lol)at the swap meet for like 20 bucks.

System sounded great for then.

don't remember what i installed first. but some of my first equipment was a ten inch mtx terminator, 2 8inch rockford series 1's then 2 12" mtx blue thunders,for amps i think my first was a hifonics Thor, then a 100x2 pioneer that was back in early 90's. fvck am i getting old .

99 buick skylark with a 15 inch JL W0 in a sealed schoche box and a Bazooka 500W peak amp
