first one was a 15 inch l7 on a dx 1000 with a 1 farad cap.... then I bought a 12 inch l7 and I ran the 12 and the 15 for a while.... sold the 12 to my friend and did a custom enclosure and install for him, same story with the fifteen. then I bought an atomic apxx 18 and soon realized that there was no possible way that I could fit it in my ranger. So I bought a sundown sa8 ( current system) and now my new system in the works is 5 sa8s on an atomic 3k... 2 xs d3100's with a dc power 270 amp alt, xs 0 ga., 6.9 cu ft gross box with 76 sq. inches of port tuned to 34 hz...

6.9cuft for 5 SA 8s? Isnt that rather huge? AFAIK Sundown only recommends .6cuft per sub.

Well I'm graduating a couple months and the plan is to buy a new nice car for my daily driver and then wall the old hatchback for fun (maybe some comps) so we'll see //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

First was a Sony headunit with Bluetooth, 6.5" Kenwoods up front from Best Buy, 6x9 Pioneers in the back from Best Buy, and a Power Acoustik 2 channel bridged on one VC of a Volfenhag 10" sub. I didn't install any of it; I had a family member who used to be a "pro audio shop owner" install everything. The sub blew after a few months, but I kept everything. I'm actually using the 2 channel right now, and I sold the headunit on here a while ago.

Shortly after that, I got another Power Acoustik amp, and a 15" 08L7. It sat in my room for over a year while I waited for the same guy to design a box for me. He went to jail in that time, and I eventually sold my BNIB equipment on Craigslist.

I don't remember HOW it worked, I just know that it lit up and moved.

its mostly port after displacement it's 3.0 cu ft.... I isnt that dum
