Your all around product line of choice?

Alpine and Eclipse h/u's

Treo and JL subs, cant think of any others right now that i like all the time

ZAPCO amps and processing (talk about consistency)

Diamond, Dynaudio, Pioneer rev series (yellow cones), Rainbow, Boston, Zapco highs/mids

as for an all around company. i would probably say alpine. Zapco has amps, processing, components, and coaxials now, but a whole system cant be found with their products.

I'll second the Kenwood eXcelon. My old eXcelon 10s are nowhere near top-of-the-line or anything but for $100/pair BNIB they've turned out to be pretty spectacular.
Love their head units and their amps (excepting the '04 amp models when the S/N ratio went in the toilet for some reason)

I've heard none of their coaxials or components so I cannot comment on those.
I have their coaxials and tweeters the db mids get pretty low andsound good. I was looking at an all excelon system but the amp would overheat at 1 ohm and shut off after 15-20 minutes. I love their hu had one go out and went and bought another one

Which did you have - the 810D or the 811?
I think it was the 810 but I cant remember and cant find my owners manual but I can find every other one. I looked for some pictures of it and cant find any I know its not the 811. I found a picture on some guys web site it is the 810. Weird thing was kenwood claimed it would do 1 ohm and the shop I got it from had around 6-7 people have problems with it. They complained to kenwood and kenwood said it does one ohm but we could never get it to do it

Hate to hear that, Scrappy. I'm a huge fan of eXcelon gear (as evidenced by my sig) but I don't have anything that new or that big. My 4ch is from before the eXcelon amps even said eXcelon on 'em! lol

I have a small 2 ch amp that is running my 12w3 and its been good for 6 years now maybe its beacuse it didnt have a fan on it but hey one problem aint to bad maybe they fixed it now I dunno. It was very loud when it would play though. It set my standard because I could hear it play for a little while Myself and my girl have their hu I almost prefer them over my alpine in my truck

Minus first run productions, XENON, I have to go w/Phoenix Gold. Now that the 1st run stuff is out, there have been no...well I should say, A LOT FEWER problems w/the XENON line. Every line they've made has been top notch. Looks might not be all that (Octane), but the quality is top grade.
