Your all around product line of choice?

I was thinking if there were any consistently good product lines. I myself have a medley of different brands to the point of every component being from a different manufacturer.

My first thought would be to include receivers, but that wouldn't be fair to most of the manufacturers. (I would say Alpine makes everything well and would be a good package). I like the combo of Alpine receivers/processing and JL Audio amps and speakers like on Unique Autosport...

So, let's just say who makes a good prduct range consisting of tweeters, mids, subs, multi-channel and mono amps. I think they should cover SQ and SPL rather well...

I guess I will start: (based on money spent)

High-end: JL Audio

Mid-level: Alpine

Budget barrel: cheap RF stuff

Completely depends on the product.

"Consistently good" is extremely tough to find, even if we did reach some sort of consensus...

I meant consistent through the entire product line, not through time. Probably good to keep within the parameters of current product as well.

It's just a personal choice thing.

I'll second the Kenwood eXcelon. My old eXcelon 10s are nowhere near top-of-the-line or anything but for $100/pair BNIB they've turned out to be pretty spectacular.

Love their head units and their amps (excepting the '04 amp models when the S/N ratio went in the toilet for some reason)

I've heard none of their coaxials or components so I cannot comment on those.

If I had to choose one company for everything besides my HU, it would be.. difficult. I want to say Adire, but they don't make car amps. I want to say RE, but they don't make comp amps. I want to so IA, but they don't make full range speakers. I would end up picking a more mainstream company. I would say DEI.
