I don't know what to tell him so I figured maybe you guys would have some input. there is a jl 1000/1 amp and jl 12w7 in the prowedge box for sale locally for 1100 bucks its looks brand new apparently and has almost 3 year left on the car toys extended warranty out of the 4. He's really concerned about the reliability of these products hence he likes the warranty but I told him he shouldn't worry about it since jl is pretty solid. you guys think its too much.

the price seems steep to me, for one 12" in a box w/ an amp. Maybe it's cause i'm a cheapo, or because with $1100, he can build a much nicer, better sounding system.
