Fused or unfused Distrobution block?

what one do i really NEED? running stinger 0 gauge in and 2- 0 gauge's out. amps are kicker kx1200.1 and kx200.2. is it really necessary to get a fused d-block? i like the stinger one with the voltage readout, but it runs around 45-50$.

fused block for power wire, non fused for ground usually.

You don't need a fused one, those amps are fused on-board. You will see the fuses on the side of the amps.

If you are fused at the battery and your amp has on-board fuses, then you're good to go

If you are fused at the battery and your amp has on-board fuses, then you're good to go

your fuse has to do with your wires capacity as well //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif...not just the amp.

I doubt your running 0 ga wire straight into your amp so do like me and invest in the fused distro for 30 bucks. Oga from batt to 3 4ga which go each to an amp. Yes amps are fused but its nicer to know having a 50 cent fuse b4 all your expensive amps can save you alot of headache. Just be sure and follow the rule whenever you go smaller in wire size add a fuse.

Ok, ok, i admit im a stinger *****. i started by gettin a deal on some oga stinger wire then i had to have everything match so all my stuff was more expensive than it could have been.... but it's hella nice.

Yes you do need it. the only way you wouldnt get one is if you were running straight from the battery > fuse > amp

If you're in a distro block of any type FUSE IT before reducing to a smaller size wire
