RE was a small time 4 man operation. where all the subs where hand built, and very resonably priced. then when the demands where out wighted by availble product, it took for ever to get a driver. then a big multi million doller company saved RE. and now are able to keep up with demand

what do u think is gonna happen to FI. there the new RE. home build subs my 1 maybe 2 guys. something tells me the demand is goin up due to the hype of boards like this. but product on hand is limited, espicialy due to the build your own driver such as the BTLs. soon. people will be waiting 6months for a driver. then whast gonna happen. is some comapny gonna rescue them

i believe thats why scott? i think it was left RE. well, one of the reasons. because they went to dealer pricing and he thought that was wrong. so he started Fi, and swore he wouldnt sell out

wich is corect and fine and dandy, but what happens when he has 100+ sub orders a week, and people want them KNOW.

RE had to riase there price. a huge manufacturing facility isnt cheap, and there employies that work there, who need a paycheck. not 4 guys doin it for a fast buck and a love for there hobbie

why the sudden hate for FI, well why the sudden hate for RE when they went "mass production" and raised the cost of there drivers.

i dont hate Fi. i respect there drivers, great bang for the buck. FOR NOW

I wasnt a big fan of RE's customer service overall. However their delivery times were pretty quick.

If you have more sales and thus more revenue, you can hire more people without raising the price. It's only when you have more people than you can afford moving the quantity of product that you are moving that prices will have to climb. Your concept of basic balance sheet economics is right there with your spelling.

I believe Henry Ford was in this situation at the beginning....

The only reason he did so well is because he sold a LOT of cars, and guess what.....low prices. By making enough money to cover all company costs, and then a little profit on each for himself, he kept prices low. He pretty much said he would rather make 5 dollars on 30,000 cars, than 15 on 4,000 cars.
