Yet another popping question for ya

Sorry but I could not find anything using the search.

I have a very loud poping noise from all four speakers and both subs when I turn on the sterio or attach the face plate on the HU. I thought it was a bad ground issue but I checked the voltage at the sub amp and I have complete voltage at that point in the circut(AKA no voltage drop in the circut) so all connections are good. Is there anything else that would cause this problem? I have the head unit and the amps both wired directly to the top posts of the battery, completely seprerate from the rest of the vehicle(front connection of the battery for the rest of the vehicle). The power wire for the amps are 2 gage for positive and negitive. Like I said, I am lost on this one. If anyone has an idea, please let me know. Thanks

I get it also and asked about it a week ago. Try regrounding your hu and change where your remote wire gets power from. I was told that my amps are turning on before my hu so when it starts up it sends the pop through the amps. I havent had time to fix it yet but hopefully tomorrow I will.

Ok, My alipne HU has a remote output for the amps. I have the amp and HU remotes wired togeather. I'll try to have the amps remoted off the HU and see what that does. Thanks.
